Criticism reached the top after one section, in which not traditional “Shuaimian (hitting noodles)” but the personal story of a chef who struggles to make a living in the big city was introduced in detail. It's surprising that a food program would ignore the food itself.
A change in the program team may be one of the reasons. The team said, “When the first season was put on, there were only about 40 food programs in China. But now the number is around 500. People's expectations are changing.” There are reasons for this opinion, but it's believed that “the devil is in the details”．
