Customers visiting the bank for the first time need to show their ID cards or bank cards to get in through a turnstile(入口处等的旋转式栅门). Then their facial information is collected and they_can go on with almost any kind of things. They do not need to show their cards or mobile phones again.

Another highlight of the automated bank is a robotic guide that can understand and answer all kinds of questions in Mandarin. When asked if it can speak Shanghai dialect(方言), the robot answered, “I am a new Shanghai person and I can't speak the local dialect.”

A_few_bank_workers_and_a_guard_were_walking_around_to_provide_help__ “We are here because it's first used in people's life and people may meet all kinds of questions and need help，” an employee said. “But we don't put our hands on any of the machines, as traditional clerks do.”
