In 2010,a serious drought (旱灾) hit the Southwest of China,such as Yunnan,Guizhou,Guangxi,Sichuan and Chongqing. Most farmers lived there had no water for their fields.Some villages watered the fields in Guizhou.Instead of looking for water,149 families in Heinitang village of Yunnan were busy digging a hole to build water cellars to fight the drought. In order to meet the needs of the industry in China’s southwestern areas,the lakes became fields. Farmers planted a large number of useful plants. This is one of the main reasons that have caused the serious drought in the Southwest of China.

Shaolin Temple

All of the new ideas changed Shaolin kung fu a lot.
Today,Shaolin kung fu is still the largest and most famous kind of kung fu inChina. People say ,“ All kung fu comes from Shaolin,but Shaolin kung fu is the best."
