    My sister and I wanted to have a surprise party for our dad's birthday. He didn't feel happy over the past few days, and we thought a party would help cheer him up (使他振奋）.We invited some of his good friends to our home.

    My sister and I planned many parties before, so we had lots of party decorations streamers (彩纸条) and balloons.

    My dad's birthday was on Saturday. My parents went to visit my grandpa in the afternoon. Then we started to prepare for the party. Then I put some fresh flowers we bought on the table.
