    Lily used to be a shy and quiet girl. She used to get nervous easily and did not dare to speak in public. And even if she spoke with strangers, her face turned red at once. She liked nothing but reading or watching TV at home in her free time. However, she has changed a lot since she joined the Buddy Club. Now, Lily is so brave, outgoing and kind of active that she isn’t afraid of speaking out in public anymore. What’s more, she has lots of hobbies, such as singing, writing, dancing and playing badminton, and she does well in them. Besides, she is outgoing and likes making friends. She is popular among us now.

    People sure change all the time, right? What we should do is to learn from Lily. Change ourselves and choose to be the best of ourselves.

    【解析】

    这是一篇要求写现在和过去对比的作文，所以要用的Lily used to do…..but now she….等类似的句子。所以文章要用到一般现在时和一般过去时两种时态。为了使文章有条理有次序可以先写过去，再写现在。作文中给的有写作提示，注意所给要点都要覆盖的到，句子和句子之间注意连接过渡词的使用，使文章显得更连贯。最后注意对文章进行总结。

    本篇作文先用一般过去时写过去Lily的性格特点，中间用到even if…., She liked nothing but….等使碎片化的词语连接在一起。中间使用“However, she has changed a lot since she joined the Buddy Club.”作为过渡，接下来写现在的性格特点。作者使用了例如What’s more…Besides…等使文章更有次序性。最后以People sure change all the time, right? ….. Change ourselves and choose to be the best of ourselves. 作为对人们的建议。做到收尾呼应，是一篇比较优秀的作文。
