Chinese is one of the subjects in middle school. In my idea, Chinese is very important for us in our lives. For it there are two following reasons;
Firstly, Chinese is good for the travelers to China. Every year, we may meet some visitors for their holiday. We can explain anything in Chinese.If we have learned Chinese, we can go anywhere even though we don't know the way. But if we didn't learn Chinese, we may not understand the map well.
Secondly, Chinese is also important for our buildings. Having the knowledge of Chinese, you can communicate with local people.
So, in my view, it's very important to study Chinese at school.
