Like other types of music, pop music has its own special culture. Most of my classmates love pop music. They think it makes their lives colourful. And it is easy to learn to sing a pop song. Some students even say they cannot imagine what life will be like without pop music.

However, a few classmates do not agree. They think pop music doesn't have a lasting value. Moreover,

spending lots of time on it will influence our lives and schoolwork.

In my opinion, listening to pop music can help us relax, but we should also learn to achieve a balance between our hobbies and schoolwork.
