    In Finland, most houses have sauna（蒸汽浴）. The sauna is a small wool hut or a room with a furnace（炉子）inside. Stones piled over the furnace are heated red hot. After the stones are heated, the sauna is used for taking a sauna bath.

    People in the sauna beat themselves with branches from a birch tree. They do this to make themselves feel even hotter. Then they wash with soap and water. After washing, they cool off in cold water.

    In Finland, most families take a sauna bath at least once a week. For Finns, the sauna bath is more than a way to get clean. It is a way to relax and enjoy themselves.
