But in many middle schools, the students have to wear school uniforms. And this rule causes a hot debate among students.
Some students are in favor of the rule. They think the uniforms make the students look more active and energetic. If students can be allowed to wear their own clothes, they may spend more time and energy on choosing clothes. Students should concentrate on studying. Besides, the uniforms are cheap, and they can save money for parents.
On the contrary, there are a lot of students against the rule. First of all, they think uniforms are ugly. But they are young and they have the right to have the popular and fashion clothes. Uniforms make all the students look the same. But everyone should be different from the others. What’s more, the quality of uniforms is not good enough. So they think students should be allowed to choose their own clothes.
