As we all know, holidays are there for a reason— you can have a chance to relax yourself and then ready to work again with more energy. ________3.________ So, why should someone who has worked hard all year have their holiday ruined(毁掉) because they got sick when they were going to rest? Imagine if you had to fly home early or spend the rest of the time in bed— you’d definitely want some form of compensation, wouldn’t you?

Another thing, all this depends on your definition of being “sick”.
