    t was December 25. Marie, a 13-year-old Australian girl, was happy. It was Christmas, and Marie's mother was making a special cake. One day,  when Marie was 25 years old,  she got a sore throat ( 嗓子疼 ) at work. She began to cough. She coughed up something small and black. What was it? Marie didn't know. She took it to the hospital. A doctor at the hospital said, "This is a coin!" The doctor told Marie, "I think you can speak again." Marie went to a special doctor, and soon she could talk.

         Lisa, 6, used to argue with her mum about everything. One day, after an hour of  arguing,  Lisa said,  
    " Mum, you never let me make decisions.  You always decide what we are going to eat or where we are going 
    to go. "          
         The next day her mum called,  " Lisa, you can decide what you are going to eat. I'll cook whatever you 
    want, but you have to eat up whatever you ask for. " A big smile spread across Lisa's face.  "Okay. I'd like

        "Mum, I'd like steak, pie, peas, bread and butter and chocolate cake for supper. " As her mum made supper,
