    　When a rich man was about fifty, his only son was born. He and his wife were quite pleased (高兴). They took good care of him (精心照料) and gave him all he wanted. When their son grew up (长大), he could do nothing except

A few months later, she said to the young man, "I've found a job for you. A cemetery (墓地) needs a door-keeper (看门人). It's light work. You needn't do anything there."

    　　　"Thank you very much," the young man said happily and went to the cemetery at once (立刻).

    　　　But two days later the young man came back and said to his aunt angrily,"All the people in the tombs (坟墓) are lying (躺) but I have to sit there. It's unfair ! I can't work there any longer."
