Thank you very much for sending me an English dictionary on my 15th birthday.It's just what I need!My English isn't very good and I often worry about it.I once asked my English teacher how to improve my English.She told me a few different ways,and one of them was to learn to use a dictionary.I went to a bookshop a few days ago,but I couldn't find a good dictionary there.Your dictionary is really good.I'm sure it'll help me a lot.Thank you again!

Mrs Harris wanted to hold a big party.She was beginning to write the invitations when her husband saw that she was writing, “Party: 6:00 to 8:30 pm”.

Even a child knows that nodding the head means" Yes". But some people will probably be puzzled when they first come to India. When they talk to an Indian, he often shakes his head. They might think that the Indian does not like what he said, but on the contrary, he is expressing agreement.
