    　　Most Americans have three meals in a day like us: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast be-gins between 7∶00 to 8∶00 am, lunch between 11∶00 am and noon, and dinner between6∶00 and 8∶00 pm. On Sundays, “brunch”is a combination（结合）of breakfast and lunch, and it always begins at 11∶00 am. Students often enjoy a“study break”or evening snack around 10∶00 or 11∶00 pm.

Lunch is more colorful to most Americans. Because the time is too short to go home for lunch. Most people take lunch with them from home, or have it in cafeterias.

    　　Dinner is the most important meal during the day. Americans usually start the meal with soup or drinks and snacks, then have roasted meat or fish with vegetables, sometimes have beef or chicken. and next dessert, followed by coffee. Americans are different from us. They use knives and forks to eat.
