      In India,there are nearly 485 million animals,and half of them are cows. Cows work much more to global warming (全球变暖)than vehicles. Why?       Scientists are designing diets to help cows eat better. In this way,they will make unpleasant gas less. But most Indian farmers can only afford to buy poor food for their cows. So many farmers add herbs (草药)to the food now. The herbs are cheap and they can produce less CH4. And the cows don't seem to mind the taste.

      Besides,quite a few projects are going on. One of them is biogas production — cows' waste is used as energy in kitchens and vehicles. It helps stop global warming.
