The 2020 winter holiday was different for most people. At the beginning of the holiday, an epidemic broke out and made many people sick in China. We had to stay indoors to fight against the coronavirus.

During the isolation period, I decided to come up with something interesting to do. I chose to read books at home, just like many other people. I learned lots of new things from reading. It is also a chance for me to practice calligraphy. I like it very much but didn’t have much time to practice it before. So I spent an hour practicing it every afternoon. In addition, I tried cooking. I made a lot of delicious food with my mother. Such as chicken wings, fried chips and cakes. It was great fun.
