"A little kindness goes a long way. ” You can hear it in talks all over the world.
In 2000,Hollie Vanderzee created (建立) Bridging People and Places in New York. Its purpose is to bring people together to make a difference in the lives of others,and it helps children,adults and families.
"Kids Helping Kids" is a special part of Bridging People and Places. The program teaches children the importance of volunteering. It makes them feel good about themselves. It also helps them to see that they can be a part of something much bigger than themselves. They can make a difference in somebody's life.
"Kids Helping Kids ” provides quilts (被子)for people in New York as well as in other countries. In 2014,kids from one area in New York sent quilts to Africa. They also made other things to send them. 3 these projects will let faraway kids know that kids in other places were thinking about them.
"Kids Helping Kids ” also makes teddy bears (泰迪熊)for sick or hurt children. The bears are full of love and kindness. They give them to hospitals,shelters,and some other faraway places.
Volunteers in " Kids Helping Kids" help children that they have never met. They do not receive anything for their work. They know that each quilt they make will help someone. They know that each bear will bring a smile to a face. That's what they want. A little kindness does go a long way.

要求:1.语言通顺、内容完整;
