Dear Mr Wu,

   We have discussed whether Jim or Jane should be the volunteer for the event of the   2. 500th anniversary of the founding of Yangzhou City. Different groups have different recommendations.

   Group A recommend Jim to be the volunteer. They say Jim is good at all his lessons and he is often praised by our teachers. Though he doesn¡¯t talk much,he learns things very quickly.

   Group B recommend Jane as the volunteer. They say Jane isn't so good at her lessons,but she studies hard and never gives up. And Jane is willing to do extra work for our class in her spare time.

   As the monitor of our class,Vd like to recommend Jane. I think a volunteer should always be ready to help others and try his best to do everything well.

   Last Friday afternoon,on her way home from school,Jane saw a lost boy crying in the street. She stopped to help the boy. It took her half an hour to find his parents. When she got home,it was very late. She was happy because she did a good deed.
