Recently I had a discussion with my parents about whether it is necessary for middle school students to go to training classes or have tutors on weekends.
My parents think we can study better with the help of a teacher. They think, by going to training classes or having tutors, we can strengthen what is learnt in class and learn a lot more.
I don’t agree with them. First of all, we will easily form the habit of dependence if we always study with the help of a teacher. Second, we need time to relax. Besides, the purpose of many training classes is to make money. So I don’t think we need to go to classes like that.
