At home

    Every family has rules. Now I’ll tell you about my rules at home. I can’t go out on school nights, and I’m not allowed to play computer games even after I’ve finish my homework. But the most terrible rule I have is that I have to go to bed before 9 o’clock. I used to finish my homework at school when I was a pupil, but now I am a middle school student, and usually have more homework to do. So I can’t finish it by 10 o’clock. I think I should be allowed to go to bed later, let’s say, by 11 o’clock.

At school

    There are a lot of rules in our school. For example, we can’t eat in classrooms, and we are not allowed to bring mobile phones to school, and so on. I think most of them are good for us, but some are not. One of the rules I hate most is that we have to wear school uniforms at school. I think we should be allowed to wear our own clothes. It makes us feel happier. If we can’t wear our own clothes at school, we should be allowed to design our school uniforms. It will make both teachers and students happy.
