　　However, in the US, kids who do well in the PE tests will get an award rather than a good grade．Nearly half of elementary and high schools in the US use the Presidential Fitness Test to measure(评估)kids' health levels．Students in most states have PE tests twice a year starting at age 10．In 1956, US President Eisenhower started the test．It has been a tradition in schools since 1966．Students who score at or above 85 percent on all the activities get a Presidential Physical Fitness Award．The test encourages students to lead a healthy and active life．It helps students test their limits, according to the US' National Association for Sport and Physical Education．
