What invention could you not live without? A few years ago, a survey asked adults(成人) and teenagers to choose which of five things they "couldn't live without". The choices were the microwave oven(微波炉)， cell phone， personal computer, car,and toothbrush (牙刷).Believe it or not，the toothbrush got the first place. Over 150 years went by before American really picked up the brushing habit. In World War II，soldiers had been taught to brush their teeth every day. They brought the habit home with them. That's good news for our teeth！

Now satellites are helping to forecast(预报) the weather. They are in space，and they can reach any part of the world. The satellites take pictures of the atmosphere(大气层)，because this is where the weather forms. They send these pictures to the weather station.
