Da Vinci Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452 in a small town of Italy. He died in 1519. From an early age, Da Vinci had an interest in painting. When he grew up, he learned to do a lot of different jobs. Most people know that he was a great painter. One of his famous paintings is called Mona Lisa. However, Da Vinci was also a talented inventor, musician, engineer and scientist. Although Leonardo hated war, he invented many different machines used for war.
