    In China, I had English classes five times a week since the fifth grade. However didn’t know textbook English was very different from everyday English until I came to Hotchkiss School, Connecticut.

But here, an “excellent” student gets good grades, does a lot for the public and plays sports or music .The kids here are so talented ，I am starting to be sorry that I gave up playing the piano at an early age and that I have never thought about sports.

    In China，people born in and after the 1980s are called the post-80s generation(一代人)．Most of them come from single-child families．However，this generation is playing a more and more important part in China，and their image(形象) in people’s minds is changing．Han Han，a popular youth writer，is one of them．
