Today, I showed the teachers from Beijing around our city Yangzhou. Yangzhou is a beautiful city with a long history. The weather here is quite different from that in Beijing. And it’s warm and comfortable all year round.
In the morning, we went to the Slender West Lake. We enjoyed beautiful view, went boating, took photos and all of us had a good time. At noon, We came to Fuchun Tea House, we tasted local traditional food and had our favorite snacks. In the afternoon, we went to Daming Temple to learn the history of Yangzhou. At night, we went shopping in the Traditional Double-dong Blocks. The teachers from Beijing bought a lot of souvenirs for their friends.
After a day’s trip, I felt very tired but I felt very happy. Because I introduced our city to the friends from Beijing. They like Yangzhou very much and think it’s a good place to live in. I am very happy to hear that.
