We went on a school camping trip last weekend. It was past 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. My best friend Shawn and I were in our tent. As we were talking,suddenly I saw a shadow （影子）pass along our tent. Later,it came closer,stopped at the entrance to the tent and then moved away. I took a flashlight,opened the tent and looked out.
The night sky was dark and there were many clouds. Everything was silent. Shawn and I decided to see what was going on,so we put on our shoes quickly and walked out of the tent.

Then I felt something tap (轻拍) me on the shoulder. I cried loudly and ran towards my tent. Suddenly,the lights came on and I saw Shawn,my other classmates and teachers standing there laughing.
“Happy birthday,Michael!” shouted everyone. I looked at my watch and saw it was just after midnight.
