    Americans like to have different kinds of parties such as birthday parties, surprise parties, tea parties and house-warming parties. The party is usually held near the end of the senior year, the last year of high school, so it is often called graduation（毕业）dance. Students are supposed to wear formal clothes at the prom. A Prom Queen and a Prom King may also be crowned（加冕）at many schools' proms.
