    A “clean slate” in English means having new start. It means we can forget the past and begin again. The beginning of the second term gives us a chance to have a clean slate.     Failing an exam isn’t the end of the world, we all fail sometimes. Whatever we face, it is important that we make an effort to do our best. Failing a test does not mean that we can’t go to university. It does not mean that we are stupid. It just means that we have to work harder and that we should ask for extra help from our teacher and our friends.
