In the past ten years, great changes have taken place in our hometown. In the past, the roads were narrow and very dirty with lots of rubbish.  And there used to be large open spaces. The houses people lived in were low. And few families had TV and radios. People went to work on foot or by bike. But now, the roads are wide and clean. Many trees are planted on both sides of the roads. Also, there are many shops and tall buildings. People now live in new departments with computers and Internet. Most of them have mobile phones. People usually go to work by bus or by car. I am glad to see these great changes in my hometown. But I think it’s still important to remember the past. It tells that we should cherish the present life. I hope my hometown will be better and better.
