The Eiffel Tower is on Champ-de-Mars on the south bank of the river Seine in Paris，France. It's the landmark of Paris. It was named after its designer Alexandre Gustave Eiffel.

The Eiffel Tower is 324 meters in height and weighs 11 ，500 tons. It covers an area of 10 square kilometers. There are 4 floors and1,711 steps in it. It is used for watching the views around Paris and as a restaurant.
