         Yao Ming, the center of the Chinese National Men's Basketball Team, plays for the Houston Rockets
    in the NBA.  The 2. 26m,  120kg center is the first person to come from a foreign team.
         Yao Ming was bom in Shanghai on September 21, 1980.  His mother was the center and captain of
    the Chinese National Women's Team. His father played basketball, too.
         Yao Ming is well known in China. He has become a very important basketball player in the China
