    A pupil's diary has caused a heat discussion online recently．The diary describes how his mobile phone-obsessed mother paid no attention to his hard work to express his thanks for her on International Women's Day．The boy，a second-grade pupil at a primary school in Taizhou City，Zhejiang Province，wrote the diary on March 8，a day when China holds different activities to show respect and love for women．The boy's teacher，Mrs．Wang，asked students to do something to show their thanks to their mothers--anything from singing a song or just expressing a good wish．
