Dear Mr Green,
     I’m Li Ping. I’m a student of Grade 7. I am tall and strong. I like basketball very much. I want to join New Year Basketball Club.
     The basketball games are very exciting. I often watch them on TV.  I also play it with my friends after school. I can play basketball well. My favorite basketball star is Yao Ming. He is great. I want to learn from Yao Ming.
     I think basketball is good for our health and study. We can make some friends, too.
