There are many festivals in China. We always have fun when we spend them. However, I never forget the last Mid-autumn Festival. Mid-autumn Festival is a popular and important lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people. The festival is held on the 15thday of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar.

On that day, I had a big dinner with my family. After dinner, we admired the full moon which was round and bright. At the same time, we ate the delicious mooncakes. How happy we felt! Then my grandfather told us what the life used to be. They didn’t have enough food and clothes. Their life was so hard that some people died of hunger. What my grandfather said has a great influence on me. I get to value the happy life and food. I don’t waste any food any more.

I will never forget the mid-autumn festival because it always makes me thinking of my grandfather’s words.
