My father used to work in a town far away. Last week we returned to the town. 1 Many old houses have been changed into tall buildings. People worked only on farms in the past，but now there are many factories there. 2 People there are now very rich.

3 And they use electric machines both at home and on the farm, while in the past they did everything by hand. Although people are rich now，I still find there are lots of problems, especially problems with pollution. 4 The factories make a lot of noise. Also, I find there aren't as many trees as before. 5 The river in the town has become very dirty. And the air isn't fresh. It's hard for people to breathe.

So I think the local government should think of some ways to solve these problems.
