Nha Trang(芽庄), located in the middle of Vienam, is one of the most important tourist hubs, thanks to its beautiful beaches with fine and clean sand and the clear ocean water with comfortable temperatures all year round. In Nha Trang City, the rainy season lasts for only 2 months, which is a very favourable condition for a long tourist season and all-the-year tourist activities.
There are several places where people often go for holidays, such as Vinpearl, Diamond Bay and Ana Mandara, both in the city and on islands off the coast. The possibly most beautiful street of Nha Trang is Tran Phu Street along the seaside, sometimes referred to as the Pacific Coast Highway of Vietnam.
In addition, Nha Trang is a stopover for the yearly sailing race starting in Hong Kong. In the past several years, the city has welcomed many five-star sea cruises(游船). Besides Sail Boat Racing, Nha Trang provided many different kinds of tourist activities for visitors. Island Hopping, Scuba Diving and other sporting activities can be enjoyed in the city.
The city is most famous for fresh seafood and barbecued(烧烤过的) pork rolled in rice paper. The bird’s nest soup is considered as one of the best in Vietnam. Here, the bird’s nests are collected in the wild, on bird farms on the inlands off the coast and even in some houses in the inner city.
