      Many  people think that Abraham Lincoln was one of the greatest presidents in the history of the USA. He passed laws against slavery (奴隶制）and kept the  United States united.

    1      His father was a carpenter (木匠）and [farmer. Lincoln often played the piano when he was a  child. And he was so interested in reading that he always borrowed books from his neighbors.
