Dear Dad,

    Today is Thanksgiving Day.Thanks for forgiving my countless mistakes. Thanks for forgiving my misunderstanding you deeply at one time. As a matter of fact, I didn’t realize that I loved you so much until the day you sent me to the new school and I saw you disappeared into the crowd. Suddenly, all memories came into my mind in a flash. How could I forget that when I got home at nearly midnight, you were still awake in order to ask me whether I need something to eat. How could I forget that when I got a high score or prizes, you would smile the whole evening. I did think myself very ungrateful! From then, I’ve been aware of the your importance in my life, my father, a diligent, considerate and brave man.
