Even though thirteen years had passed, it seemed like only yesterday when Dad was handing out those little boxes of chocolates to each of his sweethearts.

A group of scientists from Sweden have unlocked one of nature's biggest secrets. The scientists have worked out how spiders make such strong silk when they build their webs. The silk that spiders make is strong and even tougher than steel. Being able to produce man-made spider silk has long been a dream of many scientists.
