¡¾´ð°¸¡¿How to keep safe?
As teenagers, we should always keep safety in mind. But how can we keep safe? Here are some
of my suggestions. First, we should be careful when we make friends, especially on line. Second, if we are in danger, we must call the police for help in time so that we can keep ourselves safe. Also,we ought to eat healthily and safely. Eating food that goes bad will do harm to our health. Last but not least, summer is coming, and we must remember it's dangerous to swim in the river. In short, safety must come first !

Everyone speaks a language, but language is not just for talking. It is our most important communication tool. Through language, we can tell other people what we think, how we feel, and what we need. In fact, civilization (ÎÄÃ÷) itself depends on our ability to communicate.
In the long history of human, languages survive, grow, disappear, move from place to place, and change with time. Now, some languages are ancient, and others are new. There are about 6,000 different living languages around the world today, and there are many thousands more that are no longer in use. Languages might sound different, but they are thought to have come from a single ancient language. It would be quite interesting if we search for stories about the creation and disappearance of languages.
Nobody knows exactly when people first started using language. Some scientists say that people first spoke to one another about two million years ago.
Today, our sophisticated (¸´ÔÓµÄ) languages get fully used in the magazines, novels, science books, and movies that fill our libraries and bookstores. As human, it is important that we can tell the long stories, which separate us from the great apes (ÀàÈËÔ³). Other animals may use various methods to communicate, but we humans send complicated messages through space and time.
Throughout history there were many languages that served as a lingua franca (ͨÓÃÓï)¡ª a common language that could serve as a bridge between people of different cultures. Today, English is the main language that plays that role around the world. Many people have some ability to use English. Most of these people have studied English as a second or third language.
Language helps people to work together, to share knowledge, feelings, and build up modern societies. The development of humanity¡¯s many languages was an important process that helped humans move forward toward civilization.

(1)We are living in a world full of competition. Our parents compete with others in their offices, our brothers and sisters compete with others in their colleges, and we compete with our classmates in schools. Most of us give up in face of competition and will never be successful. Why can¡¯t we do better than others? One important reason is that we have no self-confidence.
(2)ÊÂʵÉÏ£¬ÈËÈËÉú¶øƽµÈ¡£ You can do what others do. Your classmates may be better than you in some ways, (3) you may be better than them in other subjects. So everyone has his or her advantages. Don¡¯t look at things from a single point of view. Try to discover your own advantages, and believe that you can do better than others in those ways.
Competition is not so terrible. Don¡¯t be afraid of it. And don¡¯t be afraid of those classmates who are better than you.(4) Remember that self-confidence is the first step to success. Believe in yourselves, and you will be successful in any competition.
