Have you ever read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland? It was written by Lewis Carroll. He was an English writer, poet, scientist and photographer (摄影师). His real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, and Lewis Carroll was his pen name. He was born in 1832 and died in 1898.

The phrase “beat a call” is used to show support for people or things. It came from Japanese. It refers to a cheering dance performed by “otaku”, or people who are crazy about pop culture.
