Among Shaw's plays, one of the best well-known plays is Pygmalion( 1916). It was later filmed,winning an Oscar(奥斯卡奖)for Shaw. A good story never dies. Now Pygmalion has been made into a new movie named Pretty Woman(1990).
Though English literature written by the British is rich and colorful, it would be dimmer (暗淡的)without the Irish contributions.
