Thomas was quite mean (小气的). He had a younger brother called Sam and he seldom shared his toys with him.

“You must share, Thomas,” said his mother. “One day you will want somebody to share something with you and they won't. Then you will be very upset.”

Spring break was finally here. Ken had been waiting it for so long, and he was particularly excited for it because his mother was taking him on a trip to the zoo.
