My name is Jack. I’m a Chinese student living in the United States. When my family moved to America in 2016 from a small village in Guangdong, China, we brought not only our bags, but also our village rules and culture. When I told the couple in the restaurant that respected the elderly, they got angry because this caused them to feel they were not able to stay young. I told them something they didn’t want to hear.
