“We want to see the president,” the man said softly.

“He’ll be busy all day,” the secretary said.

“We’ll wait,” the lady replied.

For two hours, the secretary didn’t pay any attention to them, hoping the couple would give up and go away. They didn’t. The secretary finally decided to tell the president about it. The president agreed to meet them. But clearly, he didn’t want to do so.
