My hometown is a beautiful place, which stand next to a wide river and is rich in fish and rice. And in the old days it was poor and backward little town.
Many people had no jobs and they live a hard life. On July, 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have been taken place in it. Factories, schools, hospitals and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is great improved. I love my hometown. All the more I love it’s people.
They are working hardly so as to make it still rich and more beautiful.

My uncle is the owner of a restaurant close to that 1 live .Though not very big ,but the restaurant is popular in our area .It is always crowded with customers at meal times .Some people even had to wait outside My uncle tells me that the key to his success is honest. Every day he makes sure that fresh vegetables or high quality oil are using for cooking. My uncle says that he never dreams becoming rich in the short period of time. My family was very poor when I was a child. My parents lost their jobs or lived with heavy pressure. As a result, I wanted to study hardly so as to have different future. During my high school life, I spent all my time studied those difficult subjects, which made me one of the best student in our school. After graduation, I was admitted in a key university where I meet a lot of interesting friends. Now, I am working in a big company and I am able to afford anything I wanted.
