Dear Li Hua,

I’m glad to offer you some advice. If you are to learn English well, the first step on the right way is to develop good habits. Setting aside an hour each day to read English, learning English passages by heart, looking up the dictionary when coming across new words, to name a few, will surely do you a lot of good.

Furthermore, it’s a fair bet that you can have a good knowledge of English by watching English TV shows and movies. That will not only teach you many English slangs and phrases which are widely used, but also develop your understanding of English culture.

Last but certainly not least, it’s your self-confidence that leads you to reach your goals and truly make a difference. So, why not speak and use English as much as possible? Just as an old saying goes, failure and success always come hand in hand. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes and just consider English as a piece of cake. Enjoy it!
