    19．In America it seems that everyone under the age of 18is either a fan of N'Sync，Backstreet Boys，98Degree or perhaps another cute group．In Europe，there is one boy band that almost everyone seems to like-Westlife．
    Westlife is an Irish boy band group who got their claim to fame performing as the opening act to a 1998Backstreet Boys show in Dublin，Ireland．They are managed by Louis Walsh and Ronan Keating．Ronan Keating was the leading singer of the Irish pop group"Boyzone"while Louis Walsh was the manager of Boyzone．We are very familiar with Boyzone's hit song No Matter What，a theme song of the film Notting Hill．
    Westlife was made up of 6friends from Sligo，Ireland in the beginning．Three left the group，and Nicky and Bryan joined the group in their places．So the group has five members now including Shane，Kian and Mark．It was originally（原来）called"IOU"．They later renamed themselves Westside，but they had to change the name once they found out that several groups had laid claim to the name Westside．Swear It Again，If I Let You Go，Flying Without Wings，Seasons in the Sun and Fool Again are perhaps their most popular songs．
    Westlife has been nominated（提名）for a Brit award for Best Pop Act．The 2005Brit Awards are to be held at Earl's Court，London on February 9．
