The coming of the Internet era has greatly affected our everyday life. The change caused by the Internet on school campus are even more obvious. In order to find out what middle school students think about going online, we, recently have made a survey of their views on it. We handed out 200 questionaires. The following are the results:
55% of the students think they¡¯d like to surf the internet as much as possible in their spare time. In their opinion, the Internet is the biggest library in the world, which opens to anyone in any country. Through the Internet, they can easily get newest things. What¡¯s more, it offers them a convenient way to communicate with each other, which greatly enriches their life outside their class.
30% of the students think surfing the net should be part of their life. But there must be a limit to it, for long hours on line without rest will affect their studies and even their growth.
15% of the students said No to it, thinking that, instead of reading on line, the majority chat or play PC games. Some bury themselves in the net bar, absent from school for several days. 5 % refused to co-operate.

What to do if you don't feel popular£¿
¡ñTry to take part in activities. Call your friends. Plan to do something. The worst feeling is staying home alone, because it makes you feel even more lonely.
¡ñTry to make new friends. Choose friends carefully, not just because you think they're popular. And remember, making good friends takes time. Choosing a popular person to be friends with is okay. If they are nice.¡¡
¡ñBe yourself£¨±£³Ö¶ÀÁ¢£©. If you want to become friends with someone who's popular, don't make yourself into someone you are not just to impress that person.
¡ñBe nice. Be friendly. Be outgoing£¨¿ªÀʵģ©. But don't overdo it£¡Talk to trusted friends if you are feeling really bad. Or you might want to write it down in a journal£¨ÆÚ¿¯£©or diary.
¡ñDo something special for yourself. You could take pictures of your friends, or collect their school pictures, and take a collage£¨Æ´Ìù»£©to hang on your wall. This will remind£¨ÌáÐÑ£©you, when you are feeling unpopular, that you really do have friends.
¡ñThink up your own ideas. These suggestions might not work for everyone.
What to do if you have a problem with your teacher£¿
¡ñTalk to your parents, or another adult who will listen to you and perhaps can help. Talk to your friends. Maybe they have had problems with the same teacher, too.
¡ñDon't give the teacher a reason to have problems with you. Do your work, complete your task, attend the class seriously and take notes. Maybe you just need to give the teacher a chance£¨»ú»á£©.
¡ñTry to find out what the problem is.
¡ñTalk to the teacher if you feel comfortable doing this. Don't be nasty£¨ÄÖ±ðŤµÄ£©, but express your concerns£¨¹ØÐÄ£©. Listen to the teacher, as well.
¡ñJust accept the fact that you're not going to love all your teachers.
