C. S. Lewis was one of the most famous British novelists and scholars. His life began in Ireland, where he was born on 29 November, 1989. As a boy, Lewis had a great deal of affection for animals, and often wrote his won animal storied. Lewis’s father’s house was filled with books, so Lewis read a lot of books when he was young.

Lewis began his academic career at Oxford. In 1917, he volunteered to join the British Army during World War I. Lewis married an American writer in 1956. On 22 November, 1963, his life ended in England.

He produced many famous works as well as fictional novels, the most popular of which is The Chronicles of Narnia, which has been translated into more than 40 languages and has sold millions of copies. The books that make up The Chronicles of Narnia have also been adapted into films.
